Since I have memory, I have been obsessed with acting on stage. As I was born without legs, it did not spend much time before the news teams, the national television doctors and even the presenter of the Maury Povich interview program arrived to capture myself in action, always portraying my simpler activities as inspiring.
This type of attention forced me to a life fight with the impostor syndrome while following my creative passions. The short film from above, «see from the floor», captures my trip by navigating the tropes, the exploitation and the question of whether I am talented or tpecastado, superstar or Superportation (A person with a disability who is seen as a superhero for doing everyday things).
Together with Megan Griffiths, I am working on a completely animated documentary that explores these issues, as well as sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll without legs.
