Universal standard It remains one of my all-time favorite brands due to its quality, commitment to maintaining sizes 00-40 on all items, and its excellent fit. I love that friends of all sizes can buy the brand and I want to do everything I can to get more people to buy from them. Shopping at size-inclusive stores when you’re a regular size is a great way to support your plus-size friends and help increase the chances of them having continued access to styles.
The 2024 Universal Standard Sample Sale will be held from July 18 to August 5. They offer up to 90% off hundreds of wardrobe essentials in sizes 00-40. Tips for purchasing the universal standard sample offer
To reduce frustration when shopping the deal, consider the following:
- Buy early: The earlier you shop during this sale period, the better chance you’ll have of finding styles in your size.
- Shop by size: Use the filters on the Sample Sale page to filter all items by size. This way, you’ll only see eligible sale items that fit your needs. And make sure you know your US size (see below)
- Shop by price: If you’re on a budget, use the price filters to filter out things that may still be marked as too high.
- Don’t forget that it is final sale: You cannot return these items, so you should know. I haven’t had any problems reselling items on the US B/S/T Facebook group or Poshmark, but those are additional steps that I’m sure not everyone wants to take. .
About universal standard size
USA has the most size-inclusive clothing range available right now (aside from custom options). They have sizes 00-40, with incredibly detailed measurements for each item. Your labels S, M, L, etc. They are different than what you are used to, so if you haven’t bought them before, please check the size chart! I’m 5’10 and normally wear a 28 in Lane Bryant and ELOQUII. My measurements fall between a US XL and 2XL. I have size tags in all the photos below for reference. Questions about size? Let me know!
Universal standard sample sales recommendations
I own a lot of US, so these are some of the items from the sample sale that I wholeheartedly recommend.
Palermo Divine Knitted Wrap Dress – I LOVE this dress and have worn it weekly since I bought it. It’s comfortable, the fabric is fantastic, and the wrapping is interesting, something I’ve never seen before. Comes in 4 colors.
Athena Divine JERSEY DRESS – Again, I use this all the time and love it. It’s super cool in hot weather, but also looks great layered with a denim or biker jacket. Extremely versatile and available in 4 colors. I really want the yellow one! He long sleeve and v-neck version This dress is also on sale; I have it and I love it.
Havana Divine Knit Dress – Can you see a trend? I love the divine jersey fabric in the United States! I literally received this dress 5 days ago and of course it’s on sale now (why is this happening to me?!) but I highly recommend it. Extremely comfortable, but please note that the back has a tie; It can be bothersome if you have sensory issues. Comes in 3 colors.
Geneva Iconic One Shoulder Dress – I was very surprised to see this dress on sale – I thought it would still be the normal price. It’s very comfortable and I think it looks really elevated. Comes in 6 colors.
Ambroeus Gathered Poplin Dress – I’m so mad that I missed the kelly green color of this dress in my size, because I have the black one and wear it all the time. It’s a nice stretchy poplin that stays nice and fresh without wrinkling too much.
Bellport Satin Wrap Front Dress – Again, I literally bought this one last week with the Havana dress! It’s so, so beautiful. I waited a long time for sizes for the floral print to come back in stock, but it is also available in solid colors. Beautiful fabric, gathered back and pockets. SIZE NOTE: I would personally suggest sizing down in this dress. I normally wear a US size 2XL in dresses, but the size is XL and I probably could have even made an L.
Stephanie Wide Leg Pants—These thick, stretchy ponte knit wide leg pants are something I think everyone should have! They come in various colors and lengths, but only a few combinations are for sale. When my friend and I went to the US Tour stop in Louisville, these were the first things she bought; He had never tried the United States before and these pants were his gateway.
OTHERS:
- Anything in the Next to the naked fabric to exercise: I have a lot of bodyshorts, blouses, shorts, etc. which I use regularly.
- Everything that is labeled Base – These are intended to be base layers, but I wear them alone because they are thin, hold their shape, and are incredibly stretchy.
- ohunderwear if you live in a cold climate. The United States has great outerwear and I saw that several of the puffer jackets, vests and down jackets are included in this sale.
