We have 2 of these. They both would need to be recharged weekly, so we got them each a $20 solar panel from Amazon since we use them outside. We don’t pay any monthly fees for any upgraded service. We’re happy with the ability to monitor our chicken flock when at home and elsewhere. We also check on them at night to make sure the coop doors closed properly, and we look for mice at the feeders. This always captures large predators with the motion detection, but not the smallest necessarily. It never captured the fast mice darting about (which we saw while watching the live stream), but it would capture an insect flying nearby as a trigger. We set traps and caught all the mice after seeing them on the live stream.

All in all, very happy with these given their cost. Our only concern is that the built-in battery may be so cheap that, even with the solar panel, it might stop holding a charge…..only time will tell.

For the very affordable price, this camera is unexpectedly amazing. I have never owned a security camera before. This seemed like a good, basic starter camera. It was easy to download the app and set the camera up. The app is intuitive, and I haven’t run into any problems with it. The app itself seems very well designed.

The camera quality is very clear. Night vision is very good as well—last night it even notified me at 3 am when a raccoon walked across my yard. It wasn’t even super close to the camera! I included a picture of the camera view during the day and at night.

I love that I get notified on my phone whenever it senses activity. There have been a few times where it sensed activity/recorded/notified me, but there wasn’t actually anything going on in the video. However, this does not bother me, as I would rather the motion sensor be overly sensitive than not sensitive enough/miss things.

I didn’t know you could even speak into the camera from your phone—honestly so cool!! I am so impressed with everything about this camera. It truly makes me feel more safe/secure. Especially because it notifies my phone when I’m out of the house if there is any activity in the camera. So far, this product is a 10/10 for me, I would highly recommend it. I am considering buying a second one for my back door. This camera was everything I wanted in a security camera, plus even more extra features that I wasn’t expecting (like speaking into phone to play on the camera speakers). I have no regrets about this camera so far. Although I’ve only had it set up for 4 days, so I can’t speak on the longevity of the product. But as of now, I am super happy with my purchase.

I swore I had reviewed this already but cant see my review. I was coming back to update that the battery life lasted from august 15th to October 3rd. That’s incredible to me and was on one charge with recordings every 15 minutes ATLEAST. I live infront of a church high traffic area so 5stars for battery life.

The quality is a solid 10/10 at night or during the day and the sound quality is just as good. I can hear conversations from the people outside the church. The response time is almost instant va my blink that has a 1-2 minute lag when im responding to motion.

The only 2 CONS about this camera are that it is obvious as heck and cam be spotted a mile away if you have it in plain sight. I personally dont care. People know they are being recorded and the aesthetic doesnt bother me. The second is that it doesnt have a grid adjuster for motion so I cant block out the church doors and it records alot of unnecessary motion.

I was super skeptical to say the least at first because of the price point and reviews but I can genuinely tell you this camera is LEGIT! Also it has a cool feature where it will tell you what motion you’re getting whether its a person, pet, or car. It will also ask questions on cars it catches in view. Hope this helps someone.

I really like the camera, it has such good quality, even at night time. The only thing is, it does not capture motion outside. If I take it off and my hand is the camera, it will capture motion and send me a notification. This is frustrating because not too long ago, I was followed home which is why I got the camera. I’m going to give it a couple more days and see how it is, if not I’m going to have to return it back because then it’s making me less safe when the whole purpose of the camera is to keep me safe and my child. I do have the camera inside pointing outside so I don’t know if the window has anything to do with it but I am going to change its location outside and see.

Update: I placed it outside and it won’t detect anything only when there’s a brightness and I’m holding it then it will detect so I’m going to return it and maybe get a new one, maybe it’s a defect. Not sure.
