You want to know what it is in fact Make Americans not greet at this time?

👉🏽 They are not food dyes.

👉🏽 They are not seed oils.

👉🏽 They are not «chemicals» in your damn ginger diet.

No. I spent a whole day this weekAs health coach and fitness—Talking to customers who are absolutely paralyzed when it comes to food. These are intelligent and capable women who are here crushing it in their careers and lives … and are still trapped in spirals of anxiety for eating non -organic frozen vegetables.

This is crazy.

I heard things like:

  • «I can’t eat delicatessen meat, it’s toxic.»

  • «I’m afraid of bread, it’s full of chemicals.»

  • «The canned beans are processed. I thought I had to avoid them.»

This is not a coincidence. This is the direct result of a well -being culture that becomes fear of click bait content.

I’ve been there too

For registration, I am not immune. I have been down in that «Clean food» rabbit burrow.

In my own obsessive search for «optimal health», I spent years eliminating anything «processed», avoiding «toxins» and focusing only on dense comprehensive foods in nutrients. Sounds healthy, right?

Except that I was training hard and untied For a long time thanks to all the food rules that I compensated for me on behalf of «being healthy.»

That restrictive mentality destroyed my energy, interrupted my hormones and left me fighting the symptoms of Low energy availability (read)—Contracting stress fractures, cerebral fog, anxiety, fatigue, sleep interruptions and recovery problems. And I see the same patterns playing in so many Of the women I train today.

Not because they don’t care about their healthBecause they care a lot And they have been taught to focus on the damn wrong things.

Enter: The Wellness influencer Circus 🎪

Here is the play book: the influencers walk through their local grocery store with their ring light and a conceited mimesia, collect a normal food that the average family could buy, turn the label and drain dramatically while declaring in its most critical tone:

❌ «This has seed oils: it’s inflammatory!»
❌ «You can’t pronounce that ingredient, it’s toxic!»
❌ «If you have more than three ingredients, it’s not a real food!»

And, of course, they always have a better alternative, conveniently linked to a brand with which they are being associated … and receiving a commission. Or address your website and discover that they sell their own products that will make your weekly groceries look more like a luxury car payment.

Spoiler Alert: If you really tried to eat as recommended by these people, you would spend all your payment check and a large amount of anxiety to find food with only organic ingredients … and it would probably develop disorderly eating habits along the way. Meanwhile, they are charging checks selling fear and signaling of virtue disguised as «well -being.»

Let’s call it as it is: A scam.

The «clean food» is composed

There is No Scientific definition for «clean food». There is no universal standard for what is «clean», «dirty», «good» or «toxic». And yet, the number of women I see in developing disorderly feeding patterns is triggered, largely driven by influential people who confuse food literacy with fear.

Let’s be very clear:

🧪 The dose makes the poison.
This is toxicology 101.

According Dr. Andrea Love«Toxicity refers to a chemical, physical or biological exposure that can cause damage to an organism, whether directly or indirectly. Scientifically, anything can be toxic at some exposure. Anything can be non -toxic to a certain [different] exposure.»

She continues to explain more: «This is the exhibition: how much substance, how often and how it enters the body. All these elements are necessary to determine if something is toxic.»

The examples you provide are excellent to illustrate this point. For example, drinking too much water in a short period of time can kill you. And that is not the only way in which water, which represents 60% of your body, can kill you. If only a small amount of water falls through the wrong pipe in your lungs instead of in your stomach, you can die.

There are many examples that also go in the other way: substances that kill humans when administered in the correct dose, but are also essential for life in small quantities or are used in medications to save lives.

The idea that an ingredient is automatically «toxic» just because it has a long name or was tested in absurd doses in rats does not make sense.

So not, you are not slowly killing your children with a granola bar. And yes, you can eat a sandwich without fear of «carcinogens.»

In what suits me in place

I don’t spend time worrying about nitrates in my turkey slices, food dye in my rubber bears or the «processed» nature of my favorite protein bar.

Because I’m too busy helping women:

✅ Get enough fiber To support intestinal health
✅ Eat enough protein To support muscle and aging
✅ feed your bodies with enough calories To feed their lives

The women who training do not fight due to chemicals in their almond milk. They are fighting because they are trying to navigate in a world where nutrition tips are promoted by clicks, do not care.

Maha is the new diet culture

Let’s not walk the words: this is just the culture of diet 2.0.

The Make America Healy Again (Maha) movement is the culture of the wrapped diet in a welfare hood. Demonizes the ingredients, moralizes food options and shames people for not living an impossible purity standard.

Worse? It distracts us from real Public health crisis:

  • Food insecurity

  • Lack of nutritional education

  • Inaccessible and unasperquible medical care

  • Corporate policies that prioritize profits over people

Dr. Jessica Knurick calls what it is: A deliberate distraction to prevent us from demanding a systemic change.

And let’s talk about great well -being for a second

It is wild how many people will shout on «Big Pharma» while buying unregulated supplements of an Instagram advertisement with zero skepticism.

Yes, Big Pharma deserves scrutiny, but at least it is required to present studies reviewed by peers and suffer regulatory approval.

Great well -being? They are $ 6.3 Billón industry (4 times the size of Big Pharma) almost without supervision.

And many of its strongest voices are creating erroneous information monetized by:

  • Close junk science to support your prejudices

  • Pushing elitist food standards that are inaccessible to most people

  • Sale of green powders, detoxification and supplements to «solve» the problems they invented

  • Take advantage of our desire to do the «correct» for our health

  • Confidence sectors in science and medicine to promote their own authority (and bank account)

Here is the truth:

If your food rules are so restrictive that you are avoiding eating enough, nourishing your body or enjoying your life, it is time to control reality.

I see women again and again trying to adhere to the invented food rules that collected from food influencers based on fear without real evidence that support them only to obsess them to the point that it is all they can think … until they win the cravings and eat a complete package of the food they tried to avoid because a rare not qualified on the internet told them that he told them that Tácota was told.

You deserve nutrition advice better than fear. You deserve science, context and nuances.

There is a large and beautiful medium term where processed foods can Fit, where he does not have to choose between «organic curly» or «cancer», and where joy, satisfaction and nutrition can live on the same dish.
