What is the key to Chile of great flavor? (Cocoa powder) Many would suggest that you put a lot of meat and sausages to be delicious …

Chile with powdered cocoa

I believed in the flesh until I attended a kitchen from Chile in a friend’s house. Of course, I was sure that the winner had made, until I tried the host Chile. Something was different in his recipe and I couldn’t understand what.

His Chile won (Arch) and I was baffled. I followed him after him (calling, knocking on his door, sending an email) and finally told me the secret. Cocoa powder.

Yes, a depth of flavor was achieved by adding cocoa powder without sugar that finds in the supermarket baking section. Cocoa powder gives Chile a wealth that makes meat pounds unnecessary.

As my family is trying to save money and eat less meat (my daughter was vegetarian), I decided to cut the ground meat that I add to my Chile in half and add more beans. I was surprised to discover that nobody realized!

A couple of my favorite vegetarian standards are my cauliflower curry and my vegetarian black bean soup recipe.

This Chile includes thirty -four percent of its daily iron value and 13% of its daily calcium value. You can keep all the ingredients in your pantry, except ground meat (which you can keep in your freezer).

This is my dinner that I will do at the end of the week after not having a time to get to the grocery store. It is cheap, fast, delicious and ideal for a crowd.

We will eat it on rice, pasta, with tortillas or simply. You can add fresh sauce, avocados, a tablespoon of simple yogurt or anything else that occurs to mix it.

What is your favorite Chile’s recipe addition?
