About Janet and Ashleight
Janet Beovski, PHD is a professor and head of the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina of Greensboro. She is co -director of Duck Lab, a child development laboratory at UNCG and has studied social and cognitive development in early childhood at late for more than 20 years. Janet serves on the Board of Directors of the Greensboro Sciences Center and the Jean Piaget Society for the study of knowledge and development. He likes to talk to the public and write about child development and well -being.
Ashleight Gallagher, PHD is a professor of psychology at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. His research and teaching interests are found in the areas of social cognition and gender, and likes to apply psychology beyond academic contexts. He likes to apply psychology outside the academy and is co -author of a book on the opportunities available for researchers who also want to do so (portable doctorate: take his psychology career beyond the academy, American Psychological Association, 2020).
