Here’s my Oliveda makeup review! Makeup meets skincare with the new Olive Rose Skin Tint Serum. I am sharing all about this new product and my honest thoughts.
She sounds like a newborn girl, but olive pink It’s Oliveda’s new makeup line! The first (of many) products to be launched in this line is the Skin tint serum.
Olive Rose Skin Tint is a buildable, hydrating and brightening formula with a dewy finish. As a skincare and makeup blend, it features the main antioxidant ingredient in all Oliveda products: hydroxytyrosol and hyaluronic acid. It’s also formulated without water, so it doesn’t run off with sweat. This is considered the last step of your skincare routine after moisturizer: the polished and shiny finish!

The ingredients
Hydroxytyrosol:
- Powerful antioxidant derived from olives.
- Fights free radicals, which can contribute to premature aging.
- It can help improve skin elasticity and even skin tone.
Hyaluronic Acid:
- Excellent humectant, meaning it attracts and retains moisture in the skin.
- Provides deep hydration and plumps skin for a smoother appearance.
- May help minimize the appearance of fine lines.
Without true SPF:
It’s worth noting that this is a tinted serum, but it doesn’t contain SPF, so I still have to layer it My favorite facial sunscreen.
Why Hydroxytyrosol + Hyaluronic Acid?
Hydroxytyrosol and hyaluronic acid are considered excellent additions to a skin tint because they provide powerful antioxidant protection against environmental damage (due to hydroxytyrosol) and deep hydration (due to hyaluronic acid), resulting in a natural glow. and healthy looking while addressing concerns. such as fine lines and dryness, making it a great choice for a lightweight makeup product that benefits the skin.
my thoughts
I really love it! It’s on the liquid side like Ilia and Daybird. It goes on very smoothly and doesn’t form into lines. The coverage is great. I tend to use a little more than other brands for more buildable coverage and I love that it has anti-inflammatory properties and is free of fragrance, alcohol, silicone, sulfates, parabens and EU allergens.

How to apply
I use this best blender from Beautycounter to apply it. You can also just use your fingers.
Choose a shade
Take the shadow finder test! It is generated by AI and appears to be quite accurate.
Olive Rose comes in 18 shades with more to come. It can be used alone or with foundation on top. You can also use lighter colors to highlight and darker colors to contour. The shadows are really forgiving!
Before + After
I put makeup on my eyes, but I didn’t have anything on my face before. Next, I grab Olive Rose and some blush!
I wear shade 05.
