“Interesting New Yorker article on carnivory. A big problem with the carnivore diet is that it is expensive. Obviously, it’s offset to some extent by the fact that you’re not buying a lot of the other foods that people typically buy, but it’s still going to be pretty expensive.
The other problem is that for many of us it is unappetizing. I grew up eating a wide variety of vegetables, mostly grown in my father’s garden. We also ate meat or fish for most meals, but we never ate meat, poultry, or fish exclusively. I really like vegetables and I’m not convinced that eliminating them is the long-term answer for me and my family. For that reason, I prefer to stick with a more paleo way of eating.“
