Universal Standard Mystery Box Offer: Everything You Need to Know
Universal standard It is one of my favorite brands. I fell in love with them in 2015 when they first came on the scene and have bought a lot since then. They are absolutely the most size-inclusive major brand and all items are offered in sizes 00-40. As someone who is often left out of styles like the size 28, it is much appreciated. The styles are classic and high quality and some of my favorite things in my closet. There isn’t a week that I don’t use US at least twice. What is the Universal Standard Mystery Box?
Universal Standard’s annual mystery box sale is one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year. For a limited time, you can purchase a mystery box filled with 2-3 surprise items from the brand, all at a discounted price. But what’s inside the box? And is it worth the risk?
Just as it sounds, a Universal Standard Mystery Box It’s a package you buy where the items are a mystery. For a limited time, you can purchase a themed box with huge savings that Universal Standard won’t be available at any other time. You give up control and they give you a discount. The Fall 2023 Mystery Boxes begin on September 21 and will last until October 2, unless they sell out sooner. There are 13 themed boxes you can select from, including Autumn in Paris, Nights in Aspen, Denim Discovery, and more. A few additional specialty boxes will be released during the sale, so check back to see if there’s anything new that catches your eye.
All boxes come in sizes 00-40 and come with 2-3 wardrobe essentials that fit the theme of the box. Prices start at just $98 and select boxes are valued up to $1,144. That’s up to 90% savings.
Boxes DO sell out during the sale, so if you want to get a specific box, I suggest purchasing early. (Learn from my mistake of missing out on the Luxe box last year!)
Things to know BEFORE purchasing a Universal Standard Mystery Box:
- All sales are final. There are no returns or exchanges with any of these items. If you’re okay with that risk, go ahead and buy! If you have experience selling online, American items usually sell quickly on luxury brand and in buy/sell/business groups on Facebook.
- US sizes are DIFFERENT! Triple check your size if you’re not familiar with it: find their size charts to be extremely accurate, but their size scale is labeled differently than other brands. If you’re close to my size, I wear a size 28 at most retailers and I do this for items with number tags in the US as well, and in their alphanumeric sizing, I wear an XL or 2XL depending on how I’d like it the item to fit.
- It is truly random what is selected for you. Items will match the theme of the box you purchase, but specific items/colors may vary from person to person. If you’re ultra-selective or just looking to fill a small gap in your wardrobe, this may not be the right deal for you. But again, if you’re comfortable selling online or with other America-obsessed friends, then it should be easy to trade or sell what you missed.
- Sold out boxes – If there is a specific one you are interested in, I suggest purchasing it in advance. Sizes and styles become limited.
- Shipping may be slow – between 3-4 weeks. If you’re looking for Amazon Prime speeds, this is not the place!

What I received in my Major Style Mystery Box:
